You can make sag or palak paneer/tofu with firm or extra firm tofu for a fully plant based dish (PB) or with paneer if vegetarian (VG). Paneer is often available in many grocery stores. Fried paneer or tofu saves time and makes this even easier!
Serve Sag paneer as a centerpiece for a meal with rice or a pita/ whole wheat wrap. Sag paneer also makes a great side for a non-Indian meal. Sag paneer perks up the spinach with a ton of flavor and can be accompaniment for a meal that might otherwise be less flavorful.
